Fox saying if this holds Monty has 12 starts out of 12 with 3 runs or fewer this season. He's only given up three earned runs twice this season. Ten of twelve starts, he's given up two earned runs or fewer. He could easily have eight or nine wins had he gotten run support. |

Jordan Montgomery has been the most consistent starting pitcher this season for the Yankees. Other than Boone pulling him too early a couple times - four of his twelve starts he didn't throw over 71 pitches - he's been steady. Tonight, he threw 96 pitches, his high water mark on the season.
