Put him on there too! Kluber too. Go back even further. Lopat and company… Pipps will recall all of those guys… 24 Lopat was before my time, but he fits the category. Wells was 34 when the Yankees got him. Gooden was only 31, but he had been ineffective for four years. |

My friend and long time little league coach taught his players to throw to the bag on that play. Joe reasoned players move, the bag doesn't. Allow the player to converge on the bag and the ball together, not one and then the other. |
