What about the year Pettitte was robbed of the Cy Young Award? 1996. Hentgen. Pettitte had something like 13 wins after a Yankee loss.

Trivia Answer: Stieb, Key, Guzman, Clemens, Sanchez, Ray Robbie Ray was just last season - should have known that one. Juan Guzman won the ERA title the year Hentgen won the Cy Young Award in 1996. Never would have thought about Guzman. Forgotten man to me. Aaron Sanchez escapes me, also. Kaseeb, you are too young to remember Dave Stieb, but he was nasty. Killer slider, and he was tough on the Yankees. I'd take him over every pitcher on that list. |
