Also Frank Thomas would have had 10 out of 12 if you didn't count his first year mid-season call-up when he played 60 games. Although maybe in some of those years he played more as DH, not sure. But still it's a weak question. Frank Thomas is an underrated Hall of Famer. His first ten years: .321/.440/.579/1.018 169 OPS+ Almost identical to Pujols first ten years: .328/.421/.617/1.037 170 OPS+

Geez, what's with all these pitching changes? Sears could certainly have finished the seventh and have the red-hot Marinaccio pitch the eighth. It's more fun to burn through your bullpen.

Which means we'll have another pitcher starting next inning. Boone used 4 pitchers to get the last 5 outs against the worst hitting team in the AL. Geez. Is he just bored or something?

But after his age 30 season he only made one All Star team. The Cardinals couldn't have timed his departure better.
