Hey Pipps, how was the family get together? Hah. It was great, thanks for asking. We've had these reunions every year since 1947. I won the croquet tournament. My first-round opponent was my 90-year-old Aunt Edna. I cleaned her clock, although she was the sentimental favorite. She won the tournament in 1963 and never lets you forget it. No mercy. My brother Mike became woozy during his quarter-final match with our cousin Scott. We actually had to call 911 and he had to spend the night in the hospital. Turned out to be afib. As he was being loaded into the ambulance I had to tell him that I declared his match a forfeit. He sort of flipped me off as they sped off. So yeah, plenty of excitement. He was well enough to play in the badminton tournament the next day. |
