Tyler Naquin makes me thing of Tylenol and NyQuil. He should be doing commercials for Procter and Gamble. My brother and I used to make up names for fictional cocktails that included a medicinal ingredient. I remember one we had was the Sleep Walker, which was a blend of NyQuil and Johnny Walker. We also had the Philips Screwdriver, which consisted of vodka, orange juice and milk of magnesia. We never actually drank these concoctions, though. |

I watched Neon Deion up close several times when he was with the Columbus Clippers before the Yankees called him up. It was jaw-dropping to see how fast he rounded the bases. On the other hand nobody has ever been timed going home to first faster than Mick. He just exploded coming out of the box. And he was an outstanding drag bunter and showed it several times a year before his legs just got too beat up. Didn't Bo Jackson break the record for righties going from home to first? Another college track star. I believe that is correct. Talk about explosive! |
