Good Evening, Gentlemen! I just got home after calling my sister to give me a ride home. My vehicle is in the shop. You will never guess the reason why? Overheated? I was. No, some guy drilled a hole in my gas tank in attempt to steal fuel. Evidently, I interrupted him at the beginning of his thievery. On the way back home, a driver on my passenger side motioned that something was wrong with my SUV. I pulled of the side of the road, thinking it was a low tire, when I saw the gasoline pouring out the bottom of my vehicle. I had to call a tow truck, get it taken to a shop, and it should only cost me about 4,000 beans, with the cost of a rental car, if they can fix it in a week. If they cannot get another gas tank in that time (dicey at this point), then, the cost for the rental will run the price up further. By the way, if I had gotten into a wreck, my insurance would have paid for the rental car. What the hell does it matter what the reason is for you automobile being disabled? |

Wow, I know gas is expensive but to take to that extreme? I'm glad you weren't in some kind of accident but that really sucks about the damage to your car. |

Back in the 1970s when stealing fuel was in vogue they just siphoned it. My sympathies Rizz. Talk about ruining your day. Makes me angry even from here. |
