So, which one of us is elected to beat the hell out of Boone's favorite chair if Carpenter doesn't start today?

So, which one of us is elected to beat the hell out of Boone's favorite chair if Carpenter doesn't start today? I'm predicting he doesn't start using the lefty starter Sale as an excuse. "It was a really tough decision"
Nevermind that he's actually hitting lefties better this year to the tune of .409/.519/1.136 (1.655 OPS)

Before we move on to the final game before the break, let's not forget another sterling performance from Ryan Weber Kettle. Thus far, "The 31-year-old Weber has a 1.17 ERA in three appearances with the Yankees this season He’s played in parts of eight MLB seasons with six teams. At Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, he was 2-2 with a 2.55 ERA in nine games, including five starts." www.nj.com/yankees/2022/07/yankees-fearless-righty-plays-low-key-hero.html

We can't forget Weber. It's not easy to pitch so well when on the Scranton/New York shuttle. Hopefully his good work continues. We need more solid bullpen performances with all the injuries.

You can always depend on the Weber Kettle Grill: Get that thing off that wooden deck! Don’t you know that’s a dangerous practice?!…

The fire is actually inside the pit. Just like an oven in the kitchen. Every year a grill or three get knocked over on a deck by a drunken uncle and somebody’s house gets burned down… I have never invited a drunken uncle to a BBQ. In fact, if there is a drunken uncle around, then I am probably at his house. Most common causes of house fires are produced in the kitchen from cooking accidents, from heaters, and from cigarette smoking. And, I'm not a chimp that forgets what he's doing when cooking with open flames. I'm always worried about the product of my cooking, so my attention is rapt to preparation and focus.

At one point the propane company I was working for was serving an apartment complex. Imagine this, but you don’t have to because it really happened. We got an emergency calm to shut off the gas because two of the buildings (32 apartments each) were on fire. One of the tenants had set a cardboard box of hot ashes from his fireplace outside on the wooden deck. Guess what happened? I agree with you, but as part of our safety training we were no allowed to run a propane line to a grill on a wooden surface. Always the possibility of a sudden gust of wind, a trip and fall, etc.. We saw videos of accidents of such… anc worse videos of worse accidents…

Even with giant red and white arms descending in two directions and flashing lights and warning signs it still happens.
