Toronto now up 25-3 in the fifth. Kay, are you reading the Red Sox lamentations? Give me a sec. I'll look em up.

Did anyone notice in the last game against the Astros that Aroldis Chapman had his best outing in a long time? He was around the plate consistently, no lawn darts or catcher jumping up to stab an errant fastball. He also used a couple nice forkballs. He looked like his mechanics are just about there again. I agree Rizz. It got lost in the shuffle of the doubleheader loss, but it was the best he's looked in at least 2 1/2 months.

They mentioned on the Boston broadcast that Kevin Gausman's run support for qualified pitchers has gone from fiftieth to fifth in five innings. Every Jays player already has at least two hits.

Red Sox reddit reactions to losing 25-3 to the Jays (they tagged the game thread NSFW ):
Got a new Apple TV 4K... oh look, I can add MLB app real easily. I wonder how the Red Sox are doing... 25-3 in the 5th. Okay, back to PowerWash Simulator. 😐
Alright so at what point is it ok to start rooting for us to give up more runs. We're close to the 30 run 2007 record and not that far from the 1890s 36 run all time record.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this -I have, but it was in 6th grade softball.
Lol I’m done with sports
Ok now I’m rooting for the Jays to break 30 and set a record. Sox need a slap in the face. -I’m game -If we’re gonna lose, let’s do it historically!
I just realized the thread is marked NSFW and we're now 25-3.

The team was far more entertaining when Chapman was on the injured list.

Hanging slider. Chapman again goes away from his fastball after an 0-2 base hit by Mullins on a 101 mph pitch. Like I said previously, I would not allow Chapman to call his own pitches until he is back in a rhythm again.

Billy Martin would have met that kid in the dugout with a bat. No excuse for not going after the baseball once he knew it was over his head.
