I have not, but I pass by it everyday I drive to work. And, usually that line from "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" pops in my head, as delivered from Paul Newman, "It was the Cotton Bowl, Sister-woman." I was reading awhile back that it hosts Powderpuff League Football. Blondes vs. Brunettes. Just a friendly suggestion. Sounds like a good time. |

Seriously, same year Willie wrote "Hello Walls" he wrote "Funny How Time Slips Away." First version I heard of that was a 1964 huge R&B hit for Joe Hinton. Love that one. Clean cut Willie Nelson, before the Cosmic Cowboy days, when the Rednecks and the Hippies found common ground.  |
