Nelson is better than Flaherty, Beltran, and Maybin. He should call more games. Maybin grew on me quickly. He has an odd sort mixture of light Ebonics and southern twang. Once I could pick up what he was saying, his warm and friendly personality and sense of humor won me over… I like Maybin too. I don't even mind Flaherty as much as some do. Beltran is awful of course.

I think he finally figured out that YES has a lot of upbeat and funny guys and he’s decided to begin to play off them better. Ruocco is still a little dry in my opinion. Maybe he’ll loosen up his collar a bit some day…

I’m finally finding a minor fault with Judge as a center fielder. He plays a bit deep. Does great going back and to both sides laterally. He does not get in on the bloops like he did in right field. Still, for 282 pounds, he does a great job in CF…

Nice job walking the .138 hitter number 9 hitter, Montas. Boone has seen enough.

Enjoy not pitching in the post season Luetge. I think he’ll be in there. He’s earned it, unless he short circuits again as we wind down…
