All those runs are charged to Cole, he pitched better than what his box score says. Yes he did. Although I assume the first two were unearned. Actually Bader didn't deserve an error, it should have been on Judge because he caused it.

The third game in a row where our offense failed to show up. Hopefully they will begin to fix that next year I'm not calling this over yet, but this is where the stupid "Rest" decisions don't help in the long run. If they pitch their normal relievers in game 1 maybe they win it. If they didn't take so many "rest days in the regular season" maybe they get home field instead. Yes the offense "fails to show up" at times, but the Yankees put themselves in holes they shouldn't be in by having a manager who makes very questionable decisions and then the players making stupid mistakes and never fixing them such as Donaldson.

Glad to see Javier out of there. Unless Rizzo scores, his line for two starts at Yankee Stadium is 12 IP, 0 runs, 1 hit.

If Stanton is in right field and Judge in center, that doesn't happen. Is that a stretch...yes, but Boone allows that kind of elasticity.

If Stanton was on one of his binges, maybe I could figure that one out. But he’s been abysmal for months. I don’t see any advantage to it whatsoever…

Baseball players are habitual. If you take them out of their roles they usually start struggling. The first game was 1-1 in Houston with Verlander OUT Of the game. Instead of going to the better relievers he leaves in Clarke Schmidt who blows it, then he brings in more non elite receivers that blow it more. The Yankees scored 1 more run in that game. If they put in their elite relievers instead maybe they win 2-1 instead. You can't expect to score an insane amount of runs against the pitching staffs of the Guardians and Astros. Those are games you need to win 4-2 or something.

Judge folding like a lawn chair trying to hit that ball in the dirt. He picked the wrong time for this type of streak.

Only 25 years old, too. We could see him for a long time. And he's their number four starter. I hate how their team has been so good for 6 years, but at the same time they only have won one World Series and other teams in our division beat them so they aren't unbeatable. For the Yankees though it's never good enough to beat them.
