well Drury is off the board...really nothing left out there for the Yankees OF spot. Cash could trade for trash, really not worth it. Wait for the trade dead line next year maybe.

Good for him. I really thought he was going to be a good player for us, but that unfortunate eye condition derailed him. I’m glad he’s seeing well and playing well again… (I do hope he enjoys spending the rest of his career out of contention). …

If you're trying to stay in the big leagues, the A's are good team to sign with.

If you're trying to stay in the big leagues, the A's are good team to sign with. Wasn't Wade a big part of DoMe's famous six-year plan? Yes. As of course was a young fellow named Nunez a project MVP. I love Dome’s optimism, I really do. And he does like to hold, hold, hold, protect our YOUTH… For the most part anyone we have in the minors is quickly dead to me if we can gain a quality big leaguer to fill a need on the roster. I’m hopeful that the kids can fill positions and meet expectations, but if they’re gone, they’re gone. Superstar Mateo is still fast and a great prospect, but he’s surely got a very bad case of prospect fatigue by now… Since LF looks like a bleak position right now, I’d be tickled pink if Cabrera or Florial got a shot this year, but if Pittsburgh would take those two (and a MiLB pitcher) in exchange for Reynolds, I’d do an Ozzie Smith back flip for the deal…

The Correa signing “really makes a big difference,” Cohen said. “I felt like our pitching was in good shape. We needed one more hitter. This puts us over the top.”

With the luxury tax, Cohen has a payroll of almost 500 million dollars.

Giants fans must really hate ownership right now almost having Judge and Correa and instead you get Mitch Hangier.
