Giants starter Carlos Rodon has opted out of his contract and entered free agency, per Maria Guardado of MLB.com. Rodon had a player option for $22.5MM in 2023, but given his exceptional performance this year, it’s no surprise he’s chosen to enter the open market.

Othani is a great talent, but how would the Yankees make it work with him and Stanton on the roster? They're both DH's. Plus, Othani needs to pitch in a six man rotation, do the Yankees really want to do that? |

The mock trade offers for Ohtani have already begun to appear on Twitter. Latest I saw was Torres, Peraza and Dominguez. I agree with chi, the last thing the Yanks need to do is time travel back to 80's when they used to stockpile DH's. If you're going to trade those three, at least get a decent starting pitcher or corner OF. |

instead of trying to get Ohtani they need to get there own house in order. Ohtani is not the answer plus he is off the table when it comes to a trade so they say. Trade the farm and whoever for one year $30M player...not worth it. Plus there are other teams that have way more prospect talent then the Yankees.
Angels GM says Shohei Ohtani will not be traded.
