Carmen Miranda with a single. I love her! Great old school technicolor reference. The lady in the tutti frutti hat. As Jimmy Buffet once wrote, "They Don't Dance Like Carmen No More":

I love her! Great old school technicolor reference. The lady in the tutti frutti hat. As Jimmy Buffet once wrote, "They Don't Dance Like Carmen No More": This will sound obnoxious, but my wife and I visited her museum in Rio. Those clothes and hats and especially platform shoes look even more over the top in person. Worth the trip to Rio by the sea-o.

I love the stories of your treks near and far.

Where's Inger? Hope another deaf-mute didn't sideswipe him again.

I checked out other number 11s for the Yankees. The obvious Brett Gardner, but also Buck Showalter, Hector Lopez, Chuck Knoblauch, Dwight Gooden, Erick Almonte (remember him?) and Lefty Gomez (how was that not retired?)

Where's Inger? Hope another deaf-mute didn't sideswipe him again. Give those deaf-mutes an inch and they'll take a mile. It's becoming a national problem.

I do remember Almonte - big kid. That is odd that the Hall of Famer doesn't have his name retired.

Do any of you remember Donovan Solano with the Yanks? I don't -- only nine games in 2016.
