I don’t think I could handle a religion that told me when to eat. (You can read that in Paul O’Neill’s voice, with that little touch of sarcasm he throws at Michael Kay.)… Spaghetti sandwiches are frowned upon by all major religions and are actually illegal in 181 countries.  |

Volpe is a legitimate problem on the base paths - this time for the opposition! Volpe has the potential to steal bases at a clip not seen since the early Brett Gardner. In fact, Volpe is a better base stealer than Gardner, who never had larceny in his heart, just a rocket up his .... Gardner had mechanical speed; Volpe has the natural feel for the game.

I thought Volpe was supposed to be suspect defensively at short. I sure haven't seen any evidence of it. He was always graded as a good defender at short though with an average arm. Just that Peraza was always graded better. |
