Not sure what the fascination is with Calhoun, but the High Chaparral hit his 7th home run after getting off to a slow start.

why Is Calhoun on this team? Definitely a mystery. Just like last season, the strange obsession with Jonathan Davis, who by the way does not appear to be on a major league roster this season. |

Cole definitely not as sharp with his off-speed pitches as in his last start. Thus far, he's making pitches when he needs them.

I was taking a nap and missed the first two innings. Luckily, one of my cats (Bogey - after Humphrey Bogart) climbed on my chest and woke me up. Turns out, he just wanted a can of food. It would have been nice to have a baseball alarm cat.
