I was taking a nap and missed the first two innings. Luckily, one of my cats (Bogey - after Humphrey Bogart) climbed on my chest and woke me up. Turns out, he just wanted a can of food. It would have been nice to have a baseball alarm cat. My nap lasted til the 5th… was up at 7 with dogs, by 8:30 I was headed back in to sleep… |

Boone's bullpen managing in annoying. Bullpen “lanes”. Always a new gimmick. I usually feel as has more to do with a pitcher’s “stuff” on a given day. Holmes gets Springer, but if Springer had waited a millisecond longer on that foul he hit, he would have probably removed himself from Holmes’ lane for a while… |

Maybe Boone can find a lane for some of our hitters to do something positive. Leave it to us to get Menoah on track. He’s falling behind on our hitters and still has a low pitch count…
