Were we really Pedro’s daddy? A bit of yes and no there. For his career Pedro worked to an 11-11 ;3.20 mark vs. the Yanks. So he drew some blood at times. But comparing that to Pedro’s measure of success against other teams, we may have seemed like his daddy at times. ..

At first, I thought, "What is an okay no-hitter?" I looked closer to realize that was a zero.

At first, I thought, "What is an okay no-hitter?" I looked closer to realize that was a zero. Perhaps a mere ploy to peak your curiosity? I’ll never tell…

No idea how this will copy, but if you can’t read the chart, the text does the job quite well:
Here are the top 25 seasons all time for lowest % of team HR hit in team’s home park. Twelve of the top 25 seasons on the list were Griffith Stadium seasons. From 1911–61, the Washington franchises hit 2760 HR total, just 951 (34.5%) of which were at home. The next lowest ratio for any ballpark is Forbes Field (Pittsburgh) at around 42%. Griffith was the worst HR park of all time, absolutely no doubt about it. Everyone else is playing for second place.
<sorry, chart did not copy to forum>
