Wow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk He pitched a gem last night, that is certain. Somehow, Tampa continues to reload through injuries, but this one may incur some effect on their .770 winning percentage.

Why is volpe not leading off???? Why so many bozo lineups! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Boonie wants another salami from Volpe. Gleyber is a poor choice for the lead off slot…

Why is volpe not leading off???? Why so many bozo lineups! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I think Volpe's future will be as a leadoff man but right now he has a .292 on base percentage. That's not good enough for leadoff.

Did Jeter lead off when he was a rookie? no, neither should Volpe. Let the kid learn the league and pitchers.

It seems like all their starters end up spending long amounts of time on the injured list.

That's not good enough for leadoff. True. And moving him down might be good to relieve some of the pressure on him. He’s been hitting too many fly balls, it’s like he wants to use his power instead of his speed to make things happen. He’s young. Needs to learn situational hitting (at least in non-grand slam situations)…
