The only good thing here is the rest of the division is bunched up so the Yankees are still right there with the other teams. Yep. Right now, all we shoulxx Dec worry about is leap-frogging Toronto. One team at a time. Win series… Crazy but this "last place team" Yankees record is better than every team in the AL , but the 4 east teams and Texas. I think Min might be percentage points ahead, but both have 21 wins so Yankees still better than like 8 other AL teams at least. |

I think Min might be percentage points ahead, but both have 21 wins so Yankees still better than like 8 other AL teams at least. Great point, Anthony. As depleted as the starting pitching has been and with more or less anemic offense, the Yankees are very much in the mix. |

I remember that song being a hit for Faron Young in 1961, but it was much later that I realized it was written by Willie Nelson. Incredible how long his career has spanned. |
