Thanks Kay. It wasn't too bad, a volunteer at the finish line noticed I was limping and lead me into the medical tent where a physical therapist stretched out both my calves and hamstrings. I felt a lot better after that. Congratulations, CHI!  Truly an inspiration, it makes me want to throw away these Cheetos, put down the ice cream scoop, and start a workout regimen. I can actually see myself doing two of those things. Actually, I just found out today that this summer the district office will be closed on Friday's for about six weeks. That may give me the opportunity I need to lose some freight. Thanks Rizz. You just need to get back into it and it's easier once you start rolling. You can do it! |

In 5th grade there was only one boy that did more than me. I did like 65. The other kid did 100. It was after I did mine. I could have gone further, but 100? I don’t know. In 5th grade there was only one boy that did more than me. I did like 65. The other kid did 100. It was after I did mine. I could have gone further, but 100? I don’t know. And if I had done 100 would Tommy have done 120? .. You were never beating Tommy. They wrote a rock opera about him. |

They wrote a rock opera about him. Oddly enough I just learned he’s having open heart surgery this Thursday. So many classmates and friends have been either passing away or going through some horrible cancers, illnesses. One girl had breast cancer, which to be operated on. Went home, got dehydrated, went to the ER, back home again, didn’t feel right. She’s in the hospital now with COVID, and surgery complications. No one’s heard from her in almost two weeks, so she must be horribly ill. She’s an avid FaceBook poster, to the point of annoyance. I don’t need to see every picture her family ever took. But now… nothing. |
