Me too. When is that not a good choice? It was Sarah's favorite order at an Italian restaurant. By contrast, I have never eaten it in a restaurant. I have a weakness for eggplant, seafood, risotto, gnocchi, osso bucco, Marsala, and pasta. Everything you named sounds good to me. I hope you get to Italy one day if you haven't been. Great food everywhere, but Bologna may be the epicenter. Specialties from there like tortellini and linguini Bolognese, not to mention mortadella and prosciutto. Sarah obviously had refined taste in both cuisine and marital issues. And I did just finish my own chicken parm! Thank you Anthony Volpe.

I do wish he’d take some walks and slap hit a bit. When he did that at the start of the season, I thought he was going to steal 50 bases and bd a force at the top of the lineup… That's before his left hip started flying out early, trying to "hit strikes hard," which is the Yankees' hitting philosophy. They even changed the manner in which Volpe stole bases and disrupted the pitcher's concentration. More concerning is that Paul O'Neill noticed the mechanical flaw a looooong time ago, and it still took Volpe and Austin Wells to notice the difference in his stance and effect a change. Where the hell are the hitting coaches and what are they doing? I think O'Neill would make an outstanding hitting coach but I doubt he would be willing to commit the time it would take away from him family.

O'Neill picks things up from the booth and a minor league teammate picks up a hitch in the new stance but the "hitting team" has 3/4 of the lineup under .250 and half of that under .200.
Something is not working.

Something is not working. It is sad. The MLB BA iz only .244, and Yankee Stadium doesn’t promote base hits, big ton would think that despite that we could at least match the league average. It’s simply mystifying how the Steinbrenners can be do broke that we have to survive off dumpster diving. Calhoun, Bauers, McKinney. Three outfielders. Incredible… bit they’re among our better hitters now…

the solution to the entire team's hitting woes is very simple: everyone on this board agrees to have chicken parm on one specific day (excepting those with dietary restrictions)... then watch the magic begin.

I wonder why all the Twitter chatter about sending Volpe down has stopped?

I wonder why all the Twitter chatter about sending Volpe down has stopped? I don’t know, but I sure wish he and Wells had gotten together a month or so sooner…
