Why the heck can Bader play in the minors but not in Boston when we are falling apart? I know we all love Judge and had to resign him at all costs but this is injury 2 so far with no timeline to return. It's to early for "the sky is falling" but something needs to be done. Surprisingly, Bader went to the Yankees and asked to play another two rehab games with Somerset just to make sure he’s ready to run full speed chasing down balls in center field and running the bases. Hearing that, the Yankees concurred and decided Bader would play in Somerset on Friday night (weather permitting) and again on Saturday. “The other (rehab game) went fine,” manager Aaron Boone said. “I think just in Harrison’s mind, and we agree wholeheartedly, he’d like to get another game or two and having that feeling, especially for a guy like him who relies on his legs so much, to be able to go make that diving play in the gap at full speed or score from second with the game on the line with a base-hit to left. “I just think, especially with a hamstring injury, having that confidence in your mind that you can do that …” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wonder if bellowing home plate umpires annoy the batters as much as they annoy me. How about the poor catchers in front of him?

It's hard to find that kind of toughness.
