I so hope Sevy and German walk next season. I miss when the Yankees had 3 or 4 starting pitchers you could just count on to go out and do their jobs.

I so hope Sevy and German walk next season. I miss when the Yankees had 3 or 4 starting pitchers you could just count on to go out and do their jobs. I'd be surprised if they bring back Sevy with all of his missed time over the past five years and now with three straight awful outings. |

I just like Gleyber. The guy shows up every day ready to play. Yeah we have to deal with the mental gaffs but I would much rather enjoy a guy that just plays instead of someone always hurt or pathetically under performing. I do appreciate that he's one of the few Yankees who doesn't spend gobs of time on the IL. But his mental errors do make me crazy. As well as his occasional lack of hustle, jogging to first base, and giving up on plays before they end. Other than that, he has proven durable. |

Amazing how long it took Boone to realize German had nothing. Nine baserunners vs six outs. And, great time to give "I Am Not A" Krook his first MLB appearance. I'm sure he'll be sharp after sitting for twelve games, and we all know how easy it is to pitch in Fenway.  |

The Reds and Mets used to have a pitcher named Jay Hook. Hook and Krook would have been a great tandem. |
