Rosental said on the broadcast that the Mets price for Verlander is a top 100 prospect and the Astros only have one of those #68 AA Drew Gilbert OF so he's not really seeing that as likely to happen. He didn't mention this tonight, but the other day the Reds were rumored to be interested and they do have 4 top 100 prospects. The Brewers have 5, Cubs 4, Dodgers 8, Guardians 4, Orioles 8, Rays 5, Rangers 4, Red Sox 5, Twins 2, Yankees 2, Braves 1, Angels 1, Mariners 3. So yea the Astros can be beat prospect wise by A LOT of teams.
