The talent available hasn’t really been worth the price, though. Candelario is having a rather blah season for a career best and he’s already 29. He could (probably will) turn into a pumpkin. We’re kind of stuck with what we have unless something out of the blue just pops up… Too many pumpkins on this team. We need more squash and taters. Another slab of well done meat would help, too. Prime meat. Not rotten meat like Stanton, Donaldson… or slightly putrid like DJ, Rizzo… or expired prospective meat like Bauers… or bruised meat… of which we’ve had plenty… |
