They wasted another night of good pitching. Even the Blue Jays broadcasters were talking about how they can't believe how poorly the Yankees are hitting. They almost sounded like they felt sorry for them. They must be feeling a bit like I do in thinking, how have the Jays not passed us in the standings yet? For that matter, the Red Sox. Right now we are so close to being the bums of the east… |

Will German stink up the joint again? when German is pitching badly like now, he gets desperate and starts really slathering on the sticky stuff and he pitches better. So nothing to worry about, at least until the inevitable 10 game suspension I’m at the point where I don’t care if he shoves his finger up his arse if can give us a couple good innings. Trevino or Higgy may not like it, but Jorge wouldn’t have cared… If he’s gonna be this bad, and Boone is going to keep running him out there, I’d just as soon he gets a career ending suspension… |

German’s last two starts have been a total of 5.1 innings with 17 runs (15 earned), for a delicious Ben & Bill's 25.31 ERA. We can however take heart as his FIP has been a much better 16.94… 🤓
