Given the level that Taillon has played at this season, I feel like this may be our offensive nadir of 2023… One would hope. As it is, I'm about to sign on to Dome's rebuilding plan. A lot of these guys are not major league hitters. |

Thirty home runs for both the Cubs and Yanks. Not too many trades between these two. Not many. There was Chapman for Torres, Adam Warren for Starlin Castro, Wesneski for Effross and the horse he rode in on. Back in the day there was Joe Pepitone for Curt Blefary, who a few of you on here can remember. |

Chuck Thompson never failed to point out that the Yanks were paying for Blefary's education at Wagner College. |

I keep thinking it can't get worse...but it does. It's dismal. But still I feel obligated to watch. Hard to change the habits of a lifetime. That reminds me of an old Norm Macdonald joke, where he talks about his seldom seen disgruntled uncle, who walks him around his neighborhood: "See that church over there, Norm.
