John, and especially Suzyn are just appalled that the Yankees, WTH a new hitting coach haven’t taken a walk tonight. It seems rather obvious but there seems to be no thought at all that perhaps… just perhaps the pitchers simply haven’t thrown enough pitches out of the strike zone for us to draw walks… It’s also interesting to hear some of the names of our “new” players, like a guy named “Kinah” Falefa… I find them a very difficult listen. If I am not able to watch, I usually opt for the away radio broadcast. |

Thanks. I had forgotten the name of that site. I sort of settled in listening to the deep, clear melodic intonations of John Sterling while eating my dinner, then started playing solitaire on my desk top while listening. Now that it’s 6-2, I think I’l just stay here…sitting next to the window fan on low so I can hear John and his obnoxious female companion… |
