Judge coming back should improve things, but the issue right now is they got themselves in this mess where it's only July and they have to play like it's the last week of September where every game has a big amount of weight on them. They made up a lot of ground this weekend, but lost a half game yesterday being idle and everyone else winning now tonight Boston is shockingly up 4-1 on Atlanta in the 4th, Dodgers- Blue Jays just started tied at 1. Angels won, Seattle is winning so its possible by the end of the night Boston could be ahead of them again...and even if Toronto loses you have Seattle and the Angels only a game or so behind. They have 34 of their 53 wins against above 500 teams which means they only have 19 wins against below 500 teams that is just not good enough. (34-34 above .500, 19-14 below .500) Anthony I like your positivity and outlook.  I wish I had the same. Thanks I just look at it as Judge hasn't played in any of these games during this meh to bad streak and the team should play better with him back , because we have seen him change games by himself, however, this OF defense is atrioucous and they really need to get a real LF in the next few days. They really need like an 8-2 run right now or something, but that is going to be hard against Baltimore Tampa and Houston all coming up. After Houston the rest of the years schedule isn't too bad no more Baltimore, Tampa only 3 more times, still have to play multiple NL central teams, end at KC, etc. So I do see some light here, but they have to get through the next 11 games and still be hovering Id say at WORST 3 out of the WC AND have gotten a non inept LF by then. Boone is correct it is right in front of them, BECAUSE of the head to heads existing. However just thinking they can still have this horrible OF defense and accomplish that isn't realistic. They to trade for something in the next week. |

On of the greatest 3-homers and 6 runs allowed outings in baseball history. I’ve seen enough of German to lady me a life time. The perfect game from a far from perfect man was a fluke of facing a shitty team on one of their shittiest days. Cosnide ring the level of competition maybe it should have an asterisk next to it… |
