That’s at least his third error in the little bit of outfield time he’s had this years. I recall 2 egregious throwing errors on balls that should have never been thrown toward home. He’s really skilled, but like a lot of things this year, his contribution has not gone as planned at all times… |

I've had enough of the Bauers/Mckinney/Calhoun/Franchy/etc experiment. They've had their moments, but they are too inconsistent. One week one will get hot, but then the next week they are dropping balls and not getting hits again. Yes this game was 7-0, but Bauers came up with runners on in multiple innings tonight and did nothing. Mckinney gave the Mets extra outs. Dj looks like he's finally coming around move him back to leadoff and get a real LF in a trade.

I keep going back and forth hoping for a comeback. If they lose tomorrow they need to just pack it in.

Pitching is a chore for Ronnie right now. I think it's overuse, because they said he had 11 straight scoreless appearances before this run, however, probably wouldn't hurt getting some work in AAA for a little bit since Yankees do seem to have a lot of pitching depth down there. |
