I got a call from the repair shop that they were putting the Hummer back together today. Hopefully all is good and I can pick it up tomorrow. Ruthie had a 1:40 DR appointment today and it was 92 degrees, our hottest day of the summer so far with bright sunshine.
No appointments tomorrow, but Thursday it get the joy of driving to Monte Vista, about 25 miles from here to get a tooth yanked out, and Friday Ruthie goes for a bone density test.
Thankful to have wheels under us, but the old beater they loaned us is a bit sketchy. It shut off at a stop 🛑 sign once today…

Just tuning in myself. I was initially annoyed that I had to go out tonight, but I see now it was for my own protection. Sheesh, back to pre-Royals world. Whens the next trip pipps? Canadian Maritimes in September. First ever visit to Prince Edward Island. A little time in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. |

I've seen no Yankee hits and 2 Met HR's. I'm going back to watching Shark Week. Watching Vogelbach hit his home run was a lot like seeing Shamu at Sea World… |

The Yankees have not beat Verlander since 2015 in a regular season game. They did win a game he started in 2018, but he got a ND in that one.

The only time my deceased brother ever left MD* after he got out of the service he went to Nova Scotia and said he loved it, it was beautiful, etc.. For some reason he got hooked on lighthouses, and built/painted a few models of them. It’s a bit hard to believe Lloyd passed eleven years ago. Or is it twelve now? Roller just poof! Go away!… * We did take 2 trips to NJ in the 60’s. Visiting an Aunt that lived in Paterson. She and her boyfriend came to see us in our rat hole house in MD maybe three times. That was the extent of my co-mingling with family for my entire life. |
