Middleton is 29 and does not appear to move the needle much. On the other hand, in previous seasons he’s fanned about 8 per 9 innings and this year he’s at 11.6. I’d say he has a new pitch in his arsenal, so maybe we have something here… The disappointing season of Marinacchio (wonder if something’s wrong with him), and the recent bullpen inconsistency make this a necessary move… Bye, Bobby Abreu? I think so…

I forget the guy’s name but I noticed one of the pitchers on the market has left field listed as a position on B-R. The guys pretty fast, steal bases a bit. But when I looked at his batting stats I figured he should stick to pitching. When I looked at his pitching stats I thought maybe he should move to the OF. A poverty-stricken mans Ohtani… 🤓 |

An old memory dredged up. Rising Sun, MD used to have a small greenhouse, “Middleton’s Greenhouse”. A nice old guy wax the owner, and when he got too old his kids had better things to do. Mr. Middleton is still to this day the only man I’ve ever met named Vivian…

So this is it. Keynan Middleton added. All righty then. Maybe the team quits hoping for help and plays some baseball. The slippers and daydreamers are still here along with the walking wounded and the AAAA reinforcements… Judge with a bad toe… No new catcher, no new LF, no new stating pitchers. No new manager…
