I'm shocked they pitched to Judge. But no cigar.
I thought the Rays were struggling and in a death spiral. You couldn't prove it these last two games.

You got it. From 1971, right in your wheelhouse. They had another hit a few years later with "Falling In Love Again" except then they were Hamilton Joe Frank and Denison. Also in ‘71, “Annabella”, later also “Winners and Losers” and “Come and Get Your Love.”… I’ve so much I wanna do I’ve got love enough for two I’ll never have a girl If I can’t have you-ooo… Some of the most recognizable songs to this day were released in 1971. Lennon - Imagine, Led Zeppelin - When the Levee Breaks, Santana - Black Magic Woman, Van Morrison - Domino, Marvin Gaye - What's Going On and Mercy-Mercy-Me, Temptations - Just My Imagination, Three Dog Night - Joy to the World, Rolling Stones - Brown Sugar, Tommy James - Dragging the Line, Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine, Rod Stewart - Maggie May, Cat Stevens - Peace Train, Rare Earth - I Just Want to Celebrate, Isaac Hayes - Theme from Shaft, Jerry Reed - Amos Moses and When You're Hot, You're Hot, Janis Joplin - Me and Bobby McGee, Gordon Lightfoot - If You Could Read My Mind...it just never ends

We have to get hits SOMEHOW, right?… We don't see many of them, so we have to appreciate whatever they give us.

This game feels like we’ve been playing forever. Or is that just me?…

This game feels like we’ve been playing forever. Or is that just me?… I dunno how anyone with power to change anything looks at this and does nothing? The other teams keep losing too change the lineup order a bit. They should be thrilled judge looks good now restructure the lineup order to help him out a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I remember you couldn't escape the Tapestry album by Carole King. It wouldn't make most lists, but for whatever reason "Treat Her Like A Lady" by The Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose sticks in my mind from that year. Late in the year the grating Blue Swede version of "Hooked On A Feeling" came out. "Riders On The Storm" was 71 I believe.

"I Got You Babe" with Sonny. None of her solo stuff, not a fan. I do love her backing vocals on The Ronettes "Be My Baby" when she was 17 years old.

"It's Too Late Now" was a 1971 hit. I still remember riding bikes down a dirt road with my brother, with a small transistor radio shaped like a gas pump taped to my handle bars. I wanted to stop at my grandmother's house, and "It's Too Late Now" came on. I preferred BJ Thomas' version of "Hooked One Feeling," probably because I heard it first. We had an 8-track tape with his greatest hits. I loved that album when I was a wee lad, playing it over and over again. Two of my favorite songs on the album were "Circle Around the Sun," and "Most of All."

Had to run an errand and missed 2 innings. I see the Yankees are still unlucky with the bat.
