I really like his direct approach and honesty. But I miss not having O'Neill in there for both his knowledge and his humor. Jeff Nelson is definitely not humorous, unless you look at the giant brown spots on his scalp. Had he been in the Indian wars of the 1800’s the Indians would left his scaly intact for fear of contracting the white mans spotted head disease… Some here think your head covering is a rug, opining that your hair looks nearly identical in every picture and the reason you sometimes sport a sombrero. Such shots at Nellie only makes us think "Thou dost protest too much."  |

Old inger has “watched” this game from the start, but has been very drowsy and dozed off about six times. I didn’t get to sleep until around 4AM and I took some Benadryl around 3:AM. Noe I’m awake and fresh as a daisy… I attempted to sleep without Ambien and the withdrawal symptoms were not fun. I finally took a small dose about the same time I took the Benadryl. It’s hell being such a junkie… Sarah often supplemented Ambien with Benadryl. And, sometimes a bit of booze. Not sleeping regularly is a PITA. |

I think Stump Merrill was a good baseball man but that was a lousy Yankee team. Of course he was fired by George but they did bring him back and he managed Yankee minor league teams for a while. The unforgivable was firing Yogi Berra and Dick Howser. Talk about good guys and baseball men. George fired Yogi like two weeks into a season. Just absurd treatment. |

Some twenty five years or so ago one of my supervisors told me that she and the other workers thought I wore a rug because my hair was always the same length (regular haircuts will do that). It’s definitely not the same now. I’ve let it grow out for the past 8-9 months other than a couple of light trims. It’s over my ears and down into my shirt collar… 😂 |
