Keynan "Fair to" Middleton looks pretty good. Fastball up in the zone at 98 and a really good looking change up that moves inside to righties at around 91. This is our new Jimmy Cordero. And, he hates the Astros! What's not to like?

Boone has a quick trigger on starters and a late trigger on relievers, all the while trying to never pitch them two days in a row. How easy was it to tell if Aroldis Chapman didn't have it? Yet, Boone would wait until he walked the house, then gave up a big hit to take him out. Longing for Stump Merrill. I think Stump Merrill was a good baseball man but that was a lousy Yankee team. Of course he was fired by George but they did bring him back and he managed Yankee minor league teams for a while. |

Nelson is so knowledgable in the booth. I really like his direct approach and honesty. But I miss not having O'Neill in there for both his knowledge and his humor. Jeff Nelson is definitely not humorous, unless you look at the giant brown spots on his scalp. Had he been in the Indian wars of the 1800’s the Indians would left his scaly intact for fear of contracting the white mans spotted head disease… |

Yeah, Stump was a great baseball lifer stuck with one of the worst Yankee teams ever. Jeez, Dallas Green was a tremendous baseball guy but he couldn't do anything with the lousy squad he inherited. |

But he did patch it up with Yogi -- of course that probably says more about Yogi's graciousness. I loved Howser. Pure class and so knowledgeable. I was happy for the success he had with Kansas City. |

Old inger has “watched” this game from the start, but has been very drowsy and dozed off about six times.
I didn’t get to sleep until around 4AM and I took some Benadryl around 3:AM. Noe I’m awake and fresh as a daisy…
I attempted to sleep without Ambien and the withdrawal symptoms were not fun. I finally took a small dose about the same time I took the Benadryl.
It’s hell being such a junkie…
