The White Sox broadcasters provided an interesting stat last night -- Aaron Judge has the highest OPS against them (minimum 100 ABs) in the history of the franchise, which goes back to 1901. Oddly enough, Shohei Ohtani is second, then Ed Delahanty and then Babe Ruth. What a mix of players… |

Did you hear about the Trea Turner business? He signed a big long-term contract and has been playing far below his usual standard and was getting the Hicks/Donaldson treatment from the fans. Then last Friday a social media campaign was started to give Turner a standing ovation every at bat. He promptly started ripping the ball and even played better defense. He took out a billboard on Interstate 95 thanking the fans and now he's like their most popular player. |
