Judge is a once in a lifetime player. Wish the rest of the team had his kind of determination.

Like just look at these ABS from everyone else. Stanton is like falling on half these swings. IKF I dunno he was swinging at before his motion was terrible.

The blackholes are a direct cause of poor fundamental baseball and adherence to swing planes, rather than contact and throwing rather than pitching. Bunting behind 4-0 with Stanton on first has nothing to do with talent, neither does throwing to the wrong base by a supposedly "great" defensive player, or routinely getting picked off on base, or running into outs at third and home. These types of mistakes lose ball games, especially close ones, which this team has lost a ton of this season. At those positions I think it's simpler than that. It's lack of MLB talent. Some of these guys they're parading out to LF have DFA'd by multiple teams, there is a reason for that. IKF is a utility guy byt he starts almost everyday because they don't have anyone better than him. None of their three catchers should be an everyday player. This team needs better players, the pitchers covered for them for a half of season, but once they started struggling too, the team was finished. They won 99 games last season with bad left fielders, IKF playing every day, and essentially the same catchers. The difference is last season they cut down on base running mistakes, outs at home, and played better baseball than they did the year before or this season. All of the old fundamental mistakes are coming back to haunt them. Rizzo, Stanton, LeMahieu are brand names who have lost their ability to hit the longer they have been with the Yankees and their offensive philosophies. I'm seeing bad baseball by two guys who were always fundamentally sound with LSU/Colorado and the Cubs. The Yankees do not pay attention to the little things, nor do they coach them in the minor leagues, which is why you have numbskulls like Gleyber and Sanchez with more talent than sense. There is no way that the guys on the Red Sox or Tampa Bay are that much more talented than the team the Yankees have fielded, despite their injuries. But, there is a difference in the way they play each game and the type of mistakes they make routinely. Not to mention the difference between Aaron Boone and Kevin Cash/Alex Cora and in game decisions.

Albert Abreu in the game. The usual sign that Boone has thrown in the towel.

He's absolutely fallen off a cliff. Says a lot when our DH is hitting .200. He often looks completely lost. Don't know what can be done about it at this point.

Easily turned double play by DJ and Volpe.

"Pitch better, we've got a big league dental program up here." Cone is a riot. I'd love to watch a ball game with these guys off air.

One hit through six innings - Judge with the clout to get us on the score board.

Judge is a once in a lifetime player. Wish the rest of the team had his kind of determination. I did what was once unthinkable, i switched from this game to the Cubs game. I just can't watch this roster anymore. Call up some of the guys from Scranton and I'll get interested again.

Cubs are another team that were standing wise where the Yankees/Mariners were 3 weeks ago. Give them a lot of credit for making changes and now both teams are in or near a playoff spot and the Yankees are not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll give Rizzo a pass, because he did have an OPS in the 1.xx before the Tatis thing and we know he is a player to make adjustments, but yea I don't buy either these other teams are this much more talented than the Yankees. Just look at the 18-9 stretch before the Judge injury they literally tore apart Toronto and Seattle like they were AAA teams in that run. Also lets not forget the defense was so good last year the defense won the team platinum gold glove and Trevino as well got one.
