Neither of us likes olives. I have a jar of sweet pickles which Ruthie shared with me from time to time. She has dill pickles, which I don’t like… I love olives, but I never buy them for some reason. And, on a somber note, my local Wal-Mart stopped carrying Wickles Pickles that Desouza recommended to me. I love those things. |

The game is being delayed because the Rays are honoring Carl Crawford. The obvious question, why didn't the start the ceremonies sooner? Honoring Carl Crawford for what? This is a franchise that retired Wade Boggs number. |

I'm watching because it's what I do but in NFL/NHL mode. I'm never in NFL/NHL mode, although I do watch some of the games and root for the Steelers in Penguins. |

Retiring Crawford for looking like a HOF up til age 26… Maybe someday they’ll do Wander Franco for looking like an HOF until 23… At our old forum, I recall arguing against pursing Crawford in free agency because he had a lifetime .337 OBP at that point. So glad we didn't bite on that. |
