I’m just wild about Harry! I was so glad when we got him, even though I didn’t want to lose Monty. Quality CF play and a decent bat. But his arm has been a huge disappointment and his hitting has been horrid. Too bad we don’t have a young option to turn loose in CF for the rest of the year. We have Jasson...... 👽

If 84 pitches is the volume of his tank, then there is a much bigger problem. He just threw his best fastball of the season, and he was screwed out of at least two strikes by the umpire. I’m pretty sure he was at his limit, maybe even above. Next time out, 100 pitches should be fine… Yes, because athletes today are so much bigger, stronger, and faster. Another six pitches, and he would have exploded. That's why pitchers no longer throw 150 pitches per start routinely. Pitch limits have all but eliminated injuries to starters now.

Phantom HBP? Aranda did make a face, but if that hit him, it touched a loose thread on his sock…

The pitch limit was pre-determined. I think it might have been 75-80. Boone, being the sweet guy he is, let Rodon have 2-3 extra…

Gleyber should have had that. Too delayed a reaction.

Gleyber should have had that. Too delayed a reaction. Earlier in the game I almost mentioned that Torres defense had looked a lot better recently, but I feared I would jinx him. I guess maybe I’m not even allowed to think these things… To be fair, not an easy play…

It eliminates all thinking during the game. It's bullshit.

Gleyber should have had that. Too delayed a reaction. The batter is falling over reaching for the outside breaking pitch. Quite obvious, yet we give him the exact same pitch, in the exact same location. This is idiocy. Read the freaking bat and swing during the game.

Well, we have to start hitting again or say goodbye to another series… 4 hits thru 7 innings isn't exactly raking. We're just fortunate that 3 of them were dingers. Got get going now.

The Yanks are an all or nothing hitting team. They can't string 3 hits together. Pathetic.

This team has never recovered from that ninth inning loss against Miami. They've lost resiliency and tenacity.
