The Rays just showed how easy it is to manufacture a run late in the game. Yankees still playing station to station like it's 2005.

Why is Abreu even pitching in a close game? Boone saving his bullpen for the next game… Cashman kept Abreu on the MLB roster all season because he didn't have minor league options, while better pitchers were sent to the minors. I don't get it. |

I noticed the Rays defenders all get good jumps on the ball and have no problem seeing it off the bat. Not the same case with the Yankees.

Awful baseball. More defensive errors in the first inning, much like in the start by Schmidt. Then, another bullpen fail and zero hits after the fourth inning.
