As a Colts fan I'm hurting after last night's tough loss but I don't agree with all the criticism Steichen is getting for the final play. Goodson, although not a household name has been a pretty good receiver in his limited NFL career and college.The Colts, apparently practiced this play all week. The design was great and it was an easy pitch and catch that NFL players should make. Poor throw by Minshew disrupted the timing and IMO led to the drop. Better throw and my Ponies have it first and goal from inside the ten. Oh well, there is always next year.

Yep, earlier in the game he also missed a wide open Goodsen inside the 5 yard line that would have been a TD. Minshew had a poor game, even if he just makes the easy throws we win that game. He's a likeable guy though, accountable. i |

I can't see the Jets not drafting an OL.
If the Giants don't trade up I'm not sure if either Maye or Daniels will be available for the Giants to draft.
So my question is... Any thoughts of the Giants either trading down or using their 6th overall pick to draft Washington Huskies QB Michael Penix?

I'm still hoping that the Bears elect to stay with Fields meaning they won't draft a QB. Then Washington and New England will draft Williams, and Maye. Arizona and the Chargers already have QBs. In that scenario the Bears might decide to trade their pick, which might favor the Giants since the Giants can offer the 6th overall pick, plus another draft choice.
The other side of the coin is the Giants then might draft Williams, but I rather they draft Maye or Danials. |
