I think that was explained to you before… If you suffer from OCD I feel bad for you, but this forum just isn’t managed that way… Yeah...BUT WHY HANG ONTO PROSPECTS WHEN VERY FEW ACTUALLY MAKE IT?!!??!!! I don’t think that’s OCD. I’m not sure what it is. If I knew I’d try to cure it…

Why this thread on a Yankee forum? It is a waste of space. I know I don't have to read it. Put it in a miscellaneous folder. It seems simple. Don't click on the title link if you're not interested in the thread topic. OK, but don't call this a Yankees forum. Call it a "talk about what every you want forum". I signed up because I wanted something to replace the YES forum, which most of the time talk about specific Yankee topics. Guess I need to look again.

That's certainly your call, but you're welcomed to stay. There's going to be plenty of Yankee related discussions around the corner with spring training starting and then actual games being played.

There were many threads on the YES forum that were not Yankee related. Most were, as are most here. Exactly. And there were many categories from which to choose on the YES forum...NHL, NFL, College Football, Food, Politics, etc. No one was required to participate in any of them, just as no one here is required to participate in a thread clearly titled "2023 Football (College & NFL)". I don't get it....simply click on the thread title or don't. Not that complicated. Much ado about nothing.

There would always be someone who would go off topic .

I was on another forum once where the moderator ruled with an "iron fist", to the point he even shut down conversation that was sports related but he felt a bit off topic to a thread. I can't believe this is an issue. I for one enjoy the latitude we have with discussions. I guess my only red lines would be politics and religion because they can be so personal and often lead to incivility. IMHO, Kaybil does an excellent job moderating the board. I do sense there is an increased amount of conflict since us refugees have joined, hope it hasn't been too disruptive and diminishes at some point.

We banned politics and religion after learning the hard way. I enjoy the free flowing conversations and my philosophy as a moderator is to be generally hands off unless something crosses the line or effects the readability of the board. Sure, there is a little more conflict since the YES boarders joined but that's just to be expected as the number of users grow and new personalities are introduced. I don't think conflict and debate should be necessarily frowned up as long as it doesn't get nasty. If there's anything I can do to improve as a moderator do let me know.

Tell Rizzo to quit giving away my sombreros. They’re quite expensive and I’m on a fixed income…

It doesn’t seem you’re giving this place much of a chance. It’s off-season right now. But in the mean time: If this is all you have to contribute here is to complain about the way the forum is organized, then don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya. Maybe you should start your own forum and see how “easy” it is to run one your way…

I do sense there is an increased amount of conflict since us refugees have joined, hope it hasn't been too disruptive and diminishes at some point. Increased conflict since I joined?!?!?! Well, someone should have warned them not to let me in. I'm considering leaving, as Groucho Marx once said: "I don't want to belong to any club that will accept me as a member.”

I’d rather you stick around, but of course it’s your choice…Not everyone will stay…

I dont care if people think i am a major cause of conflict . Its not my problem that i dont conform to some people’s expectations of how people should be on a message board and then they have a hard time dealing with it when i dont bend to their way of thinking and acting
