Aaron Judge says current crop of Yankees rookies were better than his Baby Bomber class:
“Man, I think they’re better. We had some good guys coming up there in ‘16 and ‘17. This group, they’re impressive with their demeanor. The way they carry themselves on the field, I feel like they’ve been here all year.”
Judge then goes on to say how impressed he is of them during games:
“It’s impressive to see that out of guys that young in a tough environment, a loud environment. We’re out there playing some ball, so it’s pretty cool to see.
“They had traffic out there all game long, early in the game and late in the game. The guys were working great at-bats, fouling off tough pitches and kind of passing the baton. It was impressive to see from such a young group that has a couple games in the big leagues.”
