Some terrible dialogue, too. It's become more spectacle than story. For the first "Star Wars," Joseph Campbell was used to ensure the script/story conformed to classical mythology and tales that have been passed down for centuries. Yeah, the script in those prequels were awful, as was the plot. A young Anakan Skywalker building C-3PO?  The dialogue is just cringe-inducing. Anytime Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman are on screen by bowels seize up. I kinda want to do an edit of the movie with a laugh track dubbed in... |
