Cashman actually kept Abreu on this roster the entire season. And, it wouldn't surprise me if Abreu was simply allowed to leave after the season. Such is roster management with Cashman-Magoo. We could have just allowed Sandwich to leave, but he just had to have Josh Donaldson and add 58 million dollars to the payroll. |
