I think these days of just being over .500. I am not sure making the play offs would benefit this team.

Since 8/12, Bauers is 1-23. Why even give him a start? Starting Bauers makes no sense when we have two prospects on the bench that can play RF. However then question should be, WHY is he still on the Roster? |

Since 8/12, Bauers is 1-23. Why even give him a start? Another example of a guy that CANNOT hit who continues getting chances because he was a regarded prospect once upon a time. |

Jake Bauers has 84 strikeouts in 213 at bats, which equates to just under 40% at .394. Estevan Florial had 1 at bat this season and 54 total over four seasons. Bauers is a bad outfielder and barely a first baseman; he cannot steal bases and has little in terms of speed. Unbelievable the chances the Yankees provide to other teams' failed prospects, and nothing to someone who is having his best year in AAA with a .921 OPS, can play all three outfield positions, has a great arm, and can steal bases.
