I happen to love this place and want to see it a peaceful place. Sometimes a bit of fire and vitriol is required. I held my words patiently, perhaps too long… I might feel a little bad about that, but on the other hand, the thing needed to come to a head before the rest of the posters return for the start of the season.
As for anyone that feels they were incorrectly targeted, I am all about second chances.
As for me, the post was indeed out of character, but it was deserved by the targets and had I had to either blow off steam or take time off from the forum. I chose to let the cap come off.

Yeah max , the one arguing with not one but two people at the same time and continued said argument with me from yesterday is the good poster and i am the troll and pool pisser ? Lol ok I disagreed in a discussion with you. I didn't care for a couple of posts by another poster that contained comments unrelated to what we were discussing. I even said that our discussion was baseball related. So leave me out of it, I didn't hide behind you, and mention you in a negative way nor did I bring up your posts and how sometimes you talk down to people, so don't hide behind me. If you're going to own up to your posts then own up to them, and don't worry about what I posted. How can i leave you out of it when it was 3 people in that discussion/argument , You , me and qimqam? You are not innocent here either.

I made myself a promise to tone down the back and forth when it comes to disagreements. Therefore, this is my last post on this subject.

All i have said is that you arent the innocent one here and that 3 people were in that discussion/argument . It might be negative but its the truth , you were as much a part of that discussion/argument as anyone else so to “ leave you out of it “ would be hypocritical .

It’s probably time for the argument about the argument to end guys. It happened. I reacted. Posadafan24, you had your say with me… We all learned a lesson or two. Posada, I commend you for fessing up to your past, and learning from it. This is all just another opportunity for all of us to learn and get a bit better. Forward, ho! (And just for the record, ho was not a name I was calling anyone)… 🤓

Certainly I don't have any inside information but I do think the Yankees felt they were going to get Yamamoto. When he didn't sign with us I don't think there was a reasonable plan B. I agree with you on Soto, hope he has a good year and enjoys himself playing here. In the end, it will come down to money and I'd say it's 50/50 he resigns with us. If rumors are true that the Mets will make a big run at him, despite the bad optics, I'm not sure Hal has the stomach to sign the kind of check it will take to retain him. More likely he will use the talking point that we really like Dominguez and Jones. Well, both are very good outfield prospects. Neither is Soto at this point. You make a very good point about Yamamoto. He was clearly plan A, and with no plan B in place, they fell back to plan C, which was Stroman at a reasonable cost. Without Cole, I don't think they have enough championship caliber pitching on the staff, unless they get unusually lucky with both Rodon and someone like Gil. Not likely, it seems to me.

We’re due after the past few seasons…

That being said i think trading for soto was to sell tickets this season after losing 40% of season tix sakes before that . Which is why i am not totally sold on soto being here for just one year . I mean i dont think hal will want to spend on soto , but he might have no choice if he wants to keep selling tickets after this season

German will try to save his career with the Pirates. Uh oh, I just read that there are 76 breweries in and around Pittsburgh. Honestly, I wish him well. Addiction is an everyday battle.

The Dodgers, because of course they are. Now that's what I call being all-in. But the Dodgers also routinely have 5 or 6 starting pitchers spend a large amount of time on the IL. So they have to stockpile. And Heyman needs some spell-check. "Imergered?"
