The mystery team claims always remind me of those old commercials for the game “Mystery Date.”… I would resign him...go figure!!! If the players Union would allow a contract where he had to take a breathalyzer test every day at an unannounced time with a hefty penalty for a failure, I might too. But he sure is ugly… |

Curry confirms Padres have asked for 7 players + salary relief in Gresham
Yankees know there has to be a cost that hurts to acquire Soto but they're also assuming $30M+
"I think these conversations will gain more traction, I think these two sides will find their way back to each other, the Yankees know this is a move they have to make, this is a move they could and should make"
Curry made it clear the Yankees want to - and perhaps will - hold onto Mike King but are willing to part with a package around Clarke Schmidt and Drew Thorpe
Curry called the Yankees one of the favorites for Yamamoto and believe they "highly desire" him. He noted that Cashman has never flown to Japan and sat front row to watch a pitcher before.
Curry did note that the pursuit of Yamamoto is a "sweepstakes" and the Mets are also very interested
Curry mentioned the possibility of Hideki Matsui joining the recruitment effort

Cleveland lands the #1 pick for the 2024 draft. Where are the Yankees in this draft? Did the Yanks lose their pick because of the Rodon signing? EDIT - Teams don't lose their picks anymore for signing free agents but the Yankees pick was dropped 10 spots which seems stupid. |

Where are the Yankees in this draft? Did the Yanks lose their pick because of the Rodon signing? EDIT - Teams don't lose their picks anymore for signing free agents but the Yankees pick was dropped 10 spots which seems stupid. They were dropped 10 picks for going over the luxury threshold. |

Conflicting reports on Ohtani. First came unconfirmed reports he was going to the Jays. Then those were debunked. Then he was supposed to be on a plane to Toronto. Then a bunch of reporters said he wasn't on the plane but was at home in SoCal.
All that's certain is that Ohtani is rolling in Dung:
